Purée.

Mix in a tiny pinch of salt and taste. Add more salt if desired.

*Asparagus is a “smart” vegetable and tells you where its tastiest parts are located. It will naturally snap into two pieces when you break it by hand. The end with the tip is the part to keep and eat. The other end can be discarded as the asparagus is less tasty on that end.
